Manhole Vacuum Testing

Williams Testing provides independent Manhole Vacuum Testing

Manhole Vacuum Testing The test is typically performed after placement and compaction of trench backfill and before surface restoration. No testing can begin until the Manhole is clean and ready for testing.

Manhole testing is performed by creating a vacuum in the manhole and monitoring a gauge for vacuum loss. A vacuum loss indicates there is a leak.

Williams Testing has two types of vacuum testing units: a plate style and a bladder style.

The plate style seals the top or the frame of the manhole cone.

The bladder style seals inside the frame, either above or below the grading rings.
