Smoke Testing

Smoke Testing can be an effective and inexpensive way of pinpointing sources of inflow and other sewer line problems in existing and new collection systems. Smoke Testing can also be effective for locating line stoppages, uncapped lines, buried manholes, sources of sewer odors and illegal connections from using this method. Smoke Testing has limitations and should not be used as a substitute for a comprehensive TV inspection program.
